Walking, Hiking, Running, Biking

Many hiking trails await you in the immediate surrounds of the house and many more in the Massif des Maures and Gulf of Saint Tropez. When you stay at Villa Dattier, we will provide you with our favourite routes. Access to the crystal coastline of Le Dattier was impeded for years by the Maures mountains, which plunge dramatically to the sea between Cap Bénat and the St Tropez peninsula. Exploring this wild and wonderful paradise was made possible by an ambitious steam-train project, le Train des Pignes, which hugged the steep coastline from 1890 until it closed after World War II. You can now walk along the old train line, which is a pedestrian dirt track that passes up the hill from Villa Dattier.
